Our Vision

Our Vision for Abovo42.com is the world’s simplest technology for publishing and sharing content on the Internet. We see a world where anyone capable of sending or forwarding an email is enabled through our technology to become an Internet Publisher for their own purposes and for free.

Our Vision is predicated on a few simple premises...

1.                   We believe that that MAYBE 1-2% of ALL Internet users actually know how to put a single HTML page up on the web. However, we believe that near 100% of Internet users DO know how to create an HTML email (even a fancy one with links, images, attachments, colored fonts, etc.). Also we believe that 100% of Internet users know how to send/forward an email.

2.                   We believe that most of the value of the web in 2015 is user-generated-content (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Instagram, Pinterest, Wordpress, Flicker, SoundCloud, Dropbox, etc.). However, a significant amount of user-generated-content is trapped in silos and not shareable on the web (i.e. Email, SMS, iMessage, WhatsApp, etc.).

3.                   Before Abovo42, there has been no technology that broke down the walls of those silos and allowed the content within them to flow freely to an existence on the open web. At the very least, it’s an intriguing thought-experiment… what will happen now that those walls no longer exist?

We believe Abovo42 is the most effort-less, friction-free service available online in terms of becoming a new user. Whenever Abovo42.com detects a post from a new/unique email address, it includes a link to the Abovo42 Terms of Service in the return email along with a link to delete the post if so desired. In other words, anyone can become an active user simply by sending or forwarding their first email to Post@Abovo42.com.
